This unconditional love of God should be enough for one to repent for their sins, and the Bible tells that “repent for your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.” Repenting for sins is made complete when one makes a conscious effort not to repeat the wrongs he/she has done. The repentance becomes tangible when one thinks of doing things that are good in the eyes of God and seeking Him instead of running away from Him.
However, an authentic Christian is one who gives the reins of his life into the hands of Jesus, who knows the importance of His presence in one’s life. It is thus that one should prepare to receive Christ into his life and surrender everything unto Him and make your heart His residence, for Jesus said, “Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you.”
